What HITL looks like in practice

• You review AI drafts and edit them — not just proofread
• You verify all factual claims against source material
• You apply professional judgment before sharing with a client
• You disclose AI involvement when required by client guidelines

The minimum HITL check

Before using any AI output: Does it make sense? Is it accurate? Is it appropriate for this client and audience? If you can't answer yes to all three, it's not ready.

HITL for medical content

Medical, clinical, or regulatory content must go through formal MLR review regardless of whether AI was used. AI assistance does not replace or accelerate the medical review process.
