Janssen

Restricted — Mandatory Disclosure

Janssen ties its AI rules to Johnson & Johnson's vendor-wide AI clauses — every use has to be disclosed in writing before delivery, and if the AI is evaluating anything about a person's health or behaviour, that risk has to be assessed and shared too.

Key requirement — Disclose the AI technology, its purpose, and — where it evaluates a person's health, interests, or behaviour — a risk assessment, in writing, before delivering anything AI-assisted to Janssen. Adobe Firefly is specifically pre-approved; treat every other tool as needing disclosure each time.

Permitted

  • Internal workflows with disclosure to the Janssen team
  • Adobe Firefly, named as pre-approved for creative use
  • Research, ideation, drafting — with HITL

Not permitted

  • Any AI use without written disclosure to the Janssen team before delivery
  • Promotional or clinical content without explicit approval
  • Consumer-tier AI tools
